Barack Obama VS Donald Trump

First, the birth certificate.
And now, people are questioning about his grades.
And the person behind all these time-wasting nonsense?

Donald Trump.

American politics is as dirty as some third world countries' public toilet. Obama has been their president since 2008, and yet there are still speculations about his place of birth, his citizenship, and the latest one, proposed by business tycoon and extremist wing of the Republican Party, Donald Trump.

Master's Degree

I have decided.

I made the decision after a series of events:

1) I dreamed a dude psycho-ing me to go ahead. Btw I don't know him. Totally random dude.

2) My lecturer psycho-ed me too.

3) Rejected by a mega company.

So what I'm going to do now is to reject the offers that I've had.

Btw, doing Master's isn't that bad either.
Master's degree here I come. =)

Parody-ANGKASA Baffled by Failure of Straw Shuttle

KUALA LUMPUR — Officials from National Space Agency Malaysia (ANGKASA) watched in horror on Monday as the RM 70 million straw space shuttle, Pencari 1, burst into flames moments after liftoff from Subang International Airport.

All astronauts were killed instantly, despite their protective all-straw space suits. The fire spread to the straw-made launching pad and destroyed it as well. Officials were stunned by the failure, which recorded a flawless six-month pre-launch test period.

"It came as a complete shock." said ANGKASA Chief Engineer Abdul Rahim. "We didn't expect the ship to catch fire. The whole bulk was really light. The straw ship was dry, light-weight and well-bailed enough to break the earth's orbit, but inexplicably burst into flames when ignited with 3,000 gallons of rocket fuel. Oh this is so disappointing!"

The material used to build the ship was purchased from cow farms in Kelantan, and it was chosen for its light-weight and its lavender smell.

"It was nice and crisp and dry," Rahim said. "It should be able to escape from the earth's gravitational pull within seconds."

Rumor has it that the quality of the hand-woven straw didn't meet the high demand of space exploration. This was, however, denied by Rahim.

"We are still trying to figure out the reason why it suddenly burst into flames," he said. "So I urge the media to stop speculating further."

Rahim's compatriot, Mohd. Rosli Syed agrees.

"The ship didn't explode prior to ignition, but as soon as we ignited the fuel, it exploded. Why?"

Although some reports indicate goats wandering from nearby farms may have munched away the ship's exterior cables, ANGKASA scientists maintain that there was never a problem with goats.

Despite the setback, ANGKASA will continue with its plan to launch Pencari 2 by the end of 2012.

"The mission this time, is to head for the sun." Mohd. Rosli said enthusiastically. "It will be the first spacecraft to land on a star. We'll surpass the achievement made by the US and Russia by then."

"We hope to bring back some Helium gas and study sun rock," He continued.

"Pencari 2 is equipped with a special reinforced-wicker basket to hold the sun lava for its journey back to Earth. A straw-enforced robot arm was constructed to scoop the lava and place it into the wicker basket."

"It will be unacceptable if the mission fails again. I will order it to be repacked and reinforced further by using dryer, crispier straw as soon as possible."

Best Undergraduate Presenter

The first award I've won in UM~~ XD
It's better late than never.

Love it.

A BIG "Thank You" to my project supervisor, Dr. Woon Kai Lin. He had conducted numerous presentation practises and corrected my powerpoint presentation six times.

The best thing is that the way he pressured me didn't suffocate me. Although there were times when I did feel bad about him (you know, great mind thinks differently), but overall he was a very responsible person. And today during the career workshop he taught us the importance of realizing the purpose of our lives.

Alright, enough of him. Now my turn. =)
I didn't work hard enough to be honest. I could've done a lot better, to make the results a lot more convincing. And right now although I have a job offer I'm still contemplating on the prospect of doing postgraduate studies. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with an answer soon.

Deterioration of Refereeing System

The English game is truly deteriorating, as far as the quality of referee is concern.

Arsenal hosted Liverpool at the Emirates last night, and it was a pain to watch especially towards the end. All I can say is that both teams suck big time. Arsenal players were better. They were able to dominate the midfield, but they lacked the crucial finishing that could turn chances to goals. Chances after chances were wasted, Bentner was straying way beyond his area of expertise, and there was only Van Persie spearing up front.

Birthday Celebration

No, it wasn't my birthday. My birthday is 4 days ahead of his. It was Ah Zau's birthday.
I swear that's Michael Jackson on PRS
I first met this dude when I was in my second year. I had to text him(not that I wanted to, really) to confirm his presence in the musician group. I was bit tentative and wasn't really sure what to expect. Yet to my surprise this long-haired dude was much more approachable than I'd expect so that sort of made my life easy. Let's be honest here, who would voluntarily approach someone with long, unkempt hair? Not me. Initially.

But he's a fine guy I promise. He wouldn't even hurt a kitten.

So, it all started when Jocelyn proposed to make a surprise for her lover(btw do I have to start from the beginning?). And we all agreed, for this dude is definitely a funny one he deserves all the surprises in this world. To make him not funny. But we didn't sort out everything until a day or two before 13th, so it was quite a hectic period for us. For me, personally, I just took out the cabbage out of my fridge and that's it. Oh I contributed the rice cooker too. Oh and the soup. Oh and the present.
Nice view from 16th floor
We all had fun giving surprise to Zau. His apartment is located at a good 16th floor. I know he's a Christian but I didn't know he prefers to live that close to heaven(in a good sense pls, choi~).

We all hoped that he didn't come back that early that night, but he said it was special day so he was granted an early escape
Everyone's busy except... the Birthday Boy
Lots of vege

We ate, we played instrument, we sang, and we cleaned up the mess at around 12am. The King of the Night even sang us a song~
video
Happy birthday to Ah Zau~.

Giggs for Torres

All that combined, and Chelsea still could not deliver, for the man standing in their path is the most decorated player in the history of English football, Ryan Giggs.

Chelsea's owner, Roman Abramovich has a deep pocket, and he craves for the Champions' League trophy. He paid what was then the highest transfer fee in English football for Andriy Shevchenko in 2006. The business turned bad. Unabated, he bought Nicholas Anelka the following season, Deco, Ramires, Benayoun, and more recently, the £50m Fernando Torres.

Why Malaysian, Or Rather, Conventional Examination System Fails

Malaysian students hate exams, and rightly so. It's probably because it doesn't reflect exactly who we are.

Our lives are laden with exams. Malaysian face their first major examination at the tender age of 12. And by 18, most Malaysians would have gone through at least three public examinations. If you're unlucky to get snubbed by matriculation entrance officer then you'd have to face STPM in your Form Six. Ironically, though these tests take only a few hours, they're meant to give schools and companies a full reflection of an individual's ability.

Happy Birthday to Me

Yep, I hid my birthday on Facebook, which's why not a lot of you know it was my birthday yesterday.

Despite having relatively low amount of posts on my wall, I didn't really feel empty within. In fact I could safely say that it was the most satisfying birthday in my entire life-it was my first birthday as a single soul in seven years, I went out and spent on whatever I could, watched two movies, and went wherever I wanted to.

I cleaned the room, hit the grocery store and had discount at GNC. In the evening I had Tony Roma's for dinner and watched Rio at 9pm. Oh by the way Rio's a fantastic film. Wildlife conservation coupled with a lot of humor makes it definitely my cup of tea. After Rio, I went to watch the match between Manchester United against Fulham before making my way back to GSC for the second time for the movie Ghost Must Be Crazy.
Met Nightckh at mamak
Watching movie alone is my latest hobby~
And lastly, 9th April is also the birthday of my ex-roommate, Foo Chee Soon-happy birthday to him too. And not forgetting, it's Feng Huang's birthday as well.

Happy Birthday to the three of us. =D

Blame Game

His imbecility and extreme philosophy are no less fanatical than the terrorism he claims he's fighting against.

Twelve people were killed Friday(1/4/2011) in an attack on a U.N. compound in northern Afghanistan that followed a demonstration against the reported burning last month of a Quran in Florida, authorities said.

The fatalities comprised seven U.N. workers and five demonstrators, officials said. Another 24 people were wounded, said Abdul Rauof Taj, security director of Balkh province.

Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai, a spokesman for the police in Mazar-e-Sharif, told reporters that a number of suspects "who might be the main organizers" had been arrested.--CNN.com

Martin Robbins puts the blame on the media, accusing them of giving too much publicity to the infamous Pastor Jones and his gang of religious fanatics. Fine. He also suggests that "We should be free to mock religious beliefs and symbols as we see fit."

Completely and utterly wrong.

Jack of All Trade, Master of All

There are also prominent musician from Taiwan Wang Lee Hom, British song-writer Sir Elton John, prominent scientist and book-writer Prof Stephen Hawking, and last but not least, the all rounder Leonardo Da Vinci.

Most people are blessed with a particular talent; Good vocal but no music sense. Excel in Math but have no basic knowledge on physics. Play badminton but suck at back-hand return. Scientifically-literate and at the same time public-illiterate.
