I couldn't care less about them initially. They're downright arrogant, callous, stubborn, ridiculous, and all-other-derogatory-terms-you-can-imagine. But the final straw came last night when I read about the bigoted comment by Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock, when asked whether abortion should be allowed in cases of rape or incest:
"I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize that life is that gift from God. And, I think, even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen."
God's intention? I wonder how would he maintain his stance when one of his daughters or female relatives fell victim to rape. As expected, his remark sparked an uproar from both the Democrats and the public. Even Mitt Romney distanced himself and disavowed the statement. And I'm sure Paul Ryan is feeling sorry for himself now.
Two months ago, Todd Akin made headlines when he said that victims of legitimate rape rarely experience pregnancy from rape.
For your information, sir, rape IS rape.
And so I agree with Obama. And for the record, a 2003 article published in the journal Human Nature estimated that rapes are twice as likely to result in pregnancies as consensual sex.

Representative Paul Broun, who sits on the US Congress Science Committee, said in September at a church that
All that stuff I was taught about evolution and embryology and the Big Bang Theory, all that are lies straight from the pit of Hell. And it’s lies to try to keep me and all the folks who were taught that from understanding that they need a savior. You see, there are a lot of scientific data that I’ve found out as a scientist that actually show that this is really a young Earth. I don’t believe that the Earth’s but about 9,000 years old. I believe it was created in six days as we know them. That’s what the Bible says.

Okay, let's put it this way. If you believe that nuclear radiation is harmful (which is why you guys go onto the streets to protest), you should believe in some studies related to nuclear decay and the concept of half-life. If you believe in the concept of half-life, you should believe the mathematics because mathematics doesn't lie (humans do). And if you believe in the mathematics of half-life, you should believe that carbon dating suggest that dinosaurs are older than 9,000 years old, and other dating system suggest that the Earth is around 4.5 billions years old.
The most disheartening thing about all these is that there are still people who continually vote these idiots to office. They possess mentality so aberrant and primitive whatever they say could literally be "lies straight from the pit of hell".
Humanity will be heading down the drain if they win the coming election.
